50 Sets ABS Rapid Prototyping Silicone Molding For Wireless Earphone in New York, US

Austin is a famous designer who comes from an electronic product company in the US, he had a new design for wireless earphone which requested ABS plastic material, but he wanted to have a rapid prototype for his new design to test the market demands, so that he can get the feedback from market at a quick time. Under the pursuing of demands, we met in a fair on 2019, and built the first business conversation. Due to the good reputation in the industry and rich experience in rapid prototyping service, Austin decided to cooperated with RMT, and accepted the quotation as well even when it was about the toughest time of Covid 19.

We received the CAD file, and other detailed requirements and parameters from Austin. According to the demands of rapid prototype, we made several discussions between our 3D printing expert and customer, finally made a solution that was:

Rough machined the ABS contour, precision machining the radius, drilling, chamfering, ensure planarity, perpendicularity, symmetry, local tolerance can be 0.01mm, perpendicularity and planarity can be controlled to 0.01mm.Treated with different finishing, multi solutions with color/hardness, tight tolerance, critical dimension, rubber parts. Toning, painting, silk screen branding, laser coding.

Customer was satisfied with the final solution. Therefore, we got the payment to be asked for 50 sets ABS rapid prototyping silicone molding for wireless earphone.

Before processing, we sent the sample material, material certification and physical data sheet to our customer by air. After everything was approved, we began to arrange the low volume manufacturing.

About the processing, we took technology as below:

Rough machined the aluminum 6061 contour, precision machining the radius, drilling, chamfering, ensure planarity, perpendicularity, symmetry, local tolerance can be 0.01mm, perpendicularity and planarity can be controlled to 0.01mm. For the surface treatment, we take use of toning, painting, silk screen branding and laser coding.

After two weeks from receiving the order, we already finished the whole rapid prototype manufacturing, and arranged the shipment to USA by Fedex. After receiving the goods, the customer tested them quickly and was very satisfied with the craft-ship of the product, and repeated the order all the time.
